Grandmaster Elic Finkelstein Beloglovsky
Born on February 18th, 1947 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, I received my basic physical training from my most respected teacher, my father,
Don León Finkelstein Perelgut Z’L.
(1920-1986)
At four years of age, he started my instruction with olimpic wrestling and gymnastics. He himself had been junior champion at pommel horse and rings in Poland where he was born.
I studied Judo on December 1953, at the Kaiso Dojo with Sensei Takayama Kawa, until I reached my first Dan on January 1961 and the second Dan two years later.
I got into my Military Training in advance in 1956 at the Science Institute of the Military Training Center (CAMIC) in Guadalajara, Jalisco, 15th Military Zone, under Liutenant Colonel Manuel Vallejo, Commander and Liutenant Roberto Rosas, both commanders of the CAMIC. They named me first hand soldier, corporal and Sargent. I was then, sports instructor in swimming, diving and judo. At the same time I was named standard-bearer of the National Escort of the CAMIC, later Sargent Major and commander of the National Escort and guide of the CAMIC. At the end of my military service as a Sargent Major and instructor, I decided to continue my sports duties under the leadership of Captain Roberto Rosas. During those five years of service, I turned the equivalent of Captain or what is called subteniente de complement and Teniente de complemento. From 1961 to 1966, I joined the Kamasu Nari Studio Dojo, where Sandai Sensei Senshi Kamasu taught me Shito Ryu like Karate.
In 1968 I moved to the US, where I practiced several martial arts such as Kung-Fu, Jiu Jitsu and Krav Maga. Due to the geographic proximity, I went over to meet rock star Elvis Presley during an event where Ed Parker, presented Bruce Lee and where Chuck Norris also assisted. At this location I met the man that proved to be the most influential teacher for me in Kenjutsu, the art of the sword, Soke Hanshi Tsuyoshi Inkato. He taught me the five secret cuts of Iai-Do and invited me to meet the forbidden martial art of the ninja, "Nin-Po Mikkyô" "Teaching of the secret spiritual power", legendary knowledge of the esoteric, mystic doctrine, Mikkyô.
Almost two decades later, a widow, and back in Mexico, I joined
Professor Enrique Flores Tovar
Galerias Karate Studio, where as a plain white belt I re-start my training in the Ninjutsu Koga Yamabushi Ryu Dux Ryu System Ninjutsu. I participated actively in the Koga Warrior Society, joining several camps, courses and seminars. Among these, the most important were the Instructors Seminar in 1991, and The Survival Camp at the El Albergue El Cerro, back in 1992.
In 1994 I establish the Koga Ninja Studio, a Ninjutsu Training Center with full written support of Shidoshi Enrique Flores, along with permission, seal and signature of Hanshi Frank W. Dux.
I was a brown-black belt, 1st kyu member of the Karate Studio Association until 1995, when I decided to abandon the organization with my black belt thesis after learning that Shidoshi Enrique Flores was decided to give me a ¨light version¨of the black belt examination, which was so important and dear to me.
Under my late master, Soke Tsuyoshi Inkato´s advice, (1930-2001) I decide to withdraw the name of Koga Ninja Studio and I change it to Nin-Po Mikkyô, but then I change it finally to avoid hurting other people´s feelings to the actual
“F I N K E L S T E I N R Y U N I N - P O M I K K Y Ô”
This name continues to spread the knowledge I learned so many years ago. I have already written the 5th Dan and I am actually writing the 6th, 7th and 8th Dan, with the intention to leave a legacy to my children and students.
In 1998 I was attacked by three armed men. One stabbed me twice with a frontal attack with a knife, another held my hand and a third had me at gunpoint from the back. I was able to escape and survive thanks to the survival instinct and my deep knowledge of martial arts learned throughout my life. I was able to stop two stabbings with superficial cuts and deviate the gun with a resulting bullet inside my right thigh.
Retrospectively at the hospital, my conclusión is that the automatic and instinctive reactions using all the martial arts in an explosive response, do not represent the fantasy of a technique in the dojo, but rather the crude reality. From this moment on, I started to write various techniques with less flashy but more fast, effective and forceful results. Up to date, I have written everything considered to be equivalent of an 8th Dan. While studying the Tora with my Rabi Rociel Pilatowsky, (Cabalist Rabí) in the Guemar, we stumbled across a Word in arameic that phonetically sounds like “KAPÆNDRIA” and that translated means ¨shortcut¨. This was the moment where I found the name for this new system.
On February 18, 2006, during my 59th birthday and the invitation of professor Sadoc Sierra Zurita, I join the Ninjutsu Seminar with Hanshi Frank W. Dux.
